Why VR is Impactful

Learn by Doing

“VR in education provides an experience anchor to the instruction. With VR education, learners are inspired to discover for themselves. Students have an opportunity to learn by doing rather than passively reading.”

- from Adobe

Empathy

“Taking the perspective of others in VR produces more empathy and prosocial behaviors in people immediately after going through the experience and over time in comparison to just imagining what it would be like to be in someone else’s shoes,” Herrera said. “And that is an exciting finding.”

- from Stanford Study on VR

Connect

“[Virtual reality] connects humans to other humans in a profound way I’ve never before seen in any other form of media, and it can change people’s perception of each other,” Milk says in a TED Talk. “That is why I think virtual reality has the potential to actually change the world.”

- from Wired

Seeing is Believing
